Which Tunnock's is better? Teacakes or Caramel?

This could be a piece about mugs, but really it's a piece about chocolate. Can I tell you something? Until very recently, I didn't like Tunnock's Caramels. I'm aware that this is wrong on pretty much every single wafered level of confection. I'm not sure what changed my mind, but now I'm much more of a fan of caramel bars than I am Tunnock's teacakes (argue with me all you like in the comments).

Gillian Kyle's Tunnock's Caramel mugs make me smile. But then I really love these designs as well...

I still like the teacakes, but they're not my favourite any more. I still love the mugs, though. Whichever you pick the mugs are £10.50. Choosing chocolate (and mugs) is hard sometimes.

    2. They are Best Product. Luckily they've been appearing south of the border in recent times.

    3. Aha, I was going to ask... you can't get them in Ireland and I have to stock up when I go back to scotland...

  2. Darn, I appear to have bought one. My father, possibly the world's biggest fan of delicious caramel wafers, will love it!

  3. They sell them in Aldi! I go through phases but it's all about teacakes for me at the moment :)

  4. THERE IS NO COMPARISON! Tunnock's teacakes are the one thing which could feasibly convince me of the existence of a god. They are AMAZING. My partner and I love a Tunnock.

  5. Tunnocks Teacakes contain shaving foam and aren't fit to lick the wrapper of the mighty M&S teacake.

Tunnocks Caramel Logs are dry, dusty and dull.

    Must try harder Scotland.

  6. Have you seen THESE? http://www.nikkimcwilliams.com/product/caramel-wafer-cushion/ I have one and it's lovely. She also does tea cake ones so you don't have to choose!
