Wallpaper Wednesday: Studio Ditte Teaspoons

At first glance, Studio Ditte's new teaspoons wallpaper is just about the cutlery. But there's a lot more going on in this design. Not just vintage keys and the odd fork hiding in the paper. The paper might be a little twee for some, but it's a lot more than brightly-coloured spoons, the shape and pattern is actually really interesting.

It's the spoons that do it for me, I think. The uniform pattern is simple, but the colours also draw your eye here, there and everywhere. You pick out the colours, but the simple shapes keep it all together. It's not too busy, it doesn't give you a migraine when you look at it.

That's why it's a very clever wallpaper indeed. It's £108 a roll (less clever) from Miki Organic. Is it as fun as Studio Ditte's robot wallpaper? Probably not, but it's a very close second for me.
