Wallpaper Wednesday: Wrought Iron by Young & Battaglia

This is the second piece of outdoor wallpaper that I've written about recently. First up was Susan Bradley's outdoor wallpaper, that is actually designed to adorn the outside of your house. But this week I'm excited by a different design. This wrought iron wallpaper from Young & Battaglia is designed to bring the outside inside, dragging in a gorgeous Gothic feel along with it.

It's got the feeling of richness and huge metal garden gates - like those private gardens that you see in the centre of London. You can look in, but you can't use them unless you've got a magic key. I've always wanted a magic key. Actually, I think it's all a little bit Brideshead - much more appealing when you're not actually on the inside.

If you want to bring a little outdoor sophistication to your house (heck, I'd be happy with any kind of sophistication), you can buy this design for £70 from the always wonderful Bodie & Fou.
