Olivia Burton Watch Collection
I don't recall the last time I wore a watch. We don't need to know the time with hands and dials like some sort of creature from the past! Right now, I can see the clock on my computer screen, my office phone and my mobile. They're all telling me entirely different times, but that's not the point. As much as I love a watch (especially a wooden watch), we don't wear them as much as we used to.
I think it's about time we changed all that. Watches are pretty. And you won't have to guess the time like you're friggin' magic when the battery runs out on your phone (clue: you're wrong, it's half an hour later than you think and your friend is mad at you because she's standing outside and it's cold).
I really like this range of watches from Olivia Burton. They're elegant and classic, but they're fun as well. Do you fancy butterflies or woodland creatures? Maybe flowers or bright colours float your boat. The straps are leather and the designs are, if you'll excuse the pun, timeless.
This is probably my favourite - I love the strap colour and the square face. You can buy Olivia Burton watches from all sorts of awesome places - Nelly, Joy, Kiki's Boutique, even super posh department store Fenwick's.
Prices kick around the £50-60 mark, and they come in a very lovely gift box. You could do a lot worse than buy a friend who's rubbish at time-keeping one of these for Christmas. She'll think you're being lovely and generous and you'll never be stood left waiting in the cold again. I think we know who's actually winning.
That's my birthday present sorted though. *swoon*
ReplyDeleteI DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE POINT OF WATCHES THAT DO NOT HAVE NUMBERS ON THEM!!!!
ReplyDeleteThese are so pretty, but you'd essentially be paying £60 to guess the time and still piss off your friend by turning up late.
These are so pretty! Straight on the Christmas list x
