Sometimes when I get dressed in the morning I look in the mirror and think the only thing that’s really missing is a tiara. And then I sigh, because grown-up women aren’t supposed to wear tiaras on a daily basis (apparently).
Fortunately Amsterdam-based design company Jansen+Co has created the perfect solution. The Royal Mirror is a thing of beautiful simplicity – a plain oval mirror with a jewel-encrusted crown image emblazoned on it, for you to hang at the right height so that it fits your reflection perfectly - exactly where you KNOW a real crown should be.
You can pick it up online at the V&A Museum shop. I think £50 is a small price to pay for a daily reminder of your inner royalty.
