We were asked a little while ago what we would buy a baking fanatic for their birthday. And then we came across this great little
cookie cutter set by Nigella Lawson. There's everything you could want in there! Numbers, letters (all of them!) and even cute little shapes like hearts and stars. It's such a great buy. You can get it for £16 from
Bliss Home and it comes in blue and cream. We suggest you use yours to spell out 'Domestic Sluttery'.
Is it really wrong to admit that I kind of want to make lots of biccies using the letters and then spell naughty words with them? Sweary cookies! :-)
ReplyDeleteI have these and they are just too nice to use! Plus I fear I will never get them all back in the tin. So, I look at them, stroke the tin and put them back on my welsh dresser!
ReplyDeleteYou don't use them?! But that's crazy! Get thee to your kitchen and start making a mess! And then send us photos to show us what you made :-)
ReplyDeleteOh I must have these. I am a cookie baking fiend, currently on a project to bake every cookie in the Betty Crocker cooky book. I need cookie cutters. My only ones at the moment are rude shapes!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure Betty Crocker would approve :-)
ReplyDeleteI was very lucky to get these for my4oth birthday.Thay have been well usedfrom teaching my daughters to spell and count and of course encouraging them into the kitchen for fun cookies too.Sadly after a 6 week holiday I have come back to find the humidity has rusted both tin and cookies.Does any one know how to restore them to their previous splendour safely. Please?
ReplyDeleteWhite vinegar is another rust remover commonly found in homes. When using white vinegar as a rust remover, it should be sprayed directly onto the rust stain and scrubbed in. Then, the area should be sprayed again with white vinegar and allowed to sit for twenty to thirty minutes. After being allowed to sit, the rust stain should come off easily when the vinegar is wiped away.
