Honestly, I'm not that fussed about Halloween. It's just not my kind of holiday. Not like Bonfire night! Now that's my kind of event. But, then I spotted these lovely little ceramic pumpkin tealight holders and they're oh-so-cute. You can buy these for £5.99 from The Contemporary Home. So much easier than making the real thing.
Actually, it is a holiday, from Ye Olde Ancient Tymes! :P We did it first, then it went over to the States, and now it's back over here again. Called Samhain (Soween) traditionally, when "the veil is thin". Is a very big deal for Pagans.
ReplyDeleteSorry, that sounded a bit sweeping - what I mean is it's not a holiday in the sense that you get a day off. All important holidays should have a day off :-)
