Maybe I watched too many sci-fi films when I was younger (you know the kind, where silver lurex leggings, a severe fringe and metallic lipstick means you're in the future), but robots still make me swoon, whether they're printed onto cake plates or in the shape of salt and pepper shakers.So, predictably, I'm fangirling all over this hand-knitted lambswool cushion, by Sara Carr on Folksy. It's £44, and since Sara's based in the UK shipping is only £4.50.
And whilst that might seem a tad expensive for somewhere soft to rest your head after a hard day at work, remember each one is hand-knitted to order, and you can be sure no-one else will have one like it. Now, would it be overkill to have this proudly displayed somewhere nearby when I next serve up cake on those robot plates...?
