Dress Dress: Olivia Rubin Tulip Dress

I'm not usually a fan of 2-in-1 dresses. In fact, I often think they're stupid. Because let's face it, you could just wear a skirt and a nice top. Looking like you're doing just that seems a bit silly to me, even if it does make getting dressed easier in the morning. I'm not (usually) so sleepy that I can't dress myself.

But this Olivia Rubin tulip dress is different. It still looks like it's a skirt-top-dress thing, but it's so damn beautiful. I don't know if it's the colour of the skirt (so very elegant) or the scribbly pattern on the top half but I do know that I must have this. Nothing I own has sleeves that puffy and pretty. Despite disliking 2-in-1 dresses (and the hyphens that come with them), I can't not like this. Especially when it's £29 in the sale at Oli. If you need me, I'll be on eBay trying to sell my possessions so I can buy it before it sells out. Anyone need any fluffy toys?

  1. I'm a big fan of 2-in-1 dresses - the lines are much cleaner and involve less yanking yourself about during the day. Tho they are sometimes a bit of an ironing nightmare...

  2. I almost like this but sadly don't think it'll suit my skin colour! Great buy for someone though

I'd be tempted to try and unpick the seam at the waist. There's too many other clothes I own that either the top part or skirt would go with! I'm too much a fan of variety to settle for a 2-in-1
