If you were in any doubt about why most of the dresses in my wardrobe are from Joy, this is the reason. I adore this spotty Louche cut-out dress, which is part of the new autumn range (although I'm pretty sure the styling is helping sway me, and her hair).
Usually I'm not a fan of cut out anything, but on this dress it's subtle. It doesn't look hoochy or tacky. The dress itself is pretty elegant and falls just above the knee so you could definitely wear it to work. I don't want to start shopping for autumn clothes already (I'm in denial), but if you were looking for a dress that you could wear through summer to autumn, you could do worse than this one. Especially since is has pockets. I'm all over dresses that have pockets.
It's £45 and it's going to be mine.

ReplyDeleteI think Louche do better autumn/winter dresses. Anything that you can wear with black opaques they seem to do very well at.

ReplyDeleteThank you! They really are one of my favourite shops. Sluttery HQ is in Greenwich and the branch there is beautiful - a converted swimming baths with original features (the changing rooms are actually the old changing rooms).
