I'm kicking myself a little bit for not buying a pair of grey brogues yesterday (if I get all of my work done I might sneak out and try them on again), and I realised that all of the shoes I've liked recently have been grey. Grey works so well for Autumn, especially with all of those bright-coloured tights.
Does silvery glitter count as grey? I think the contrasting bits on these ballet flats put them just slightly in the grey category. Besides, I really want them. They're part of the French Connection range at ASOS and they're £45.
I need boots, and as these a lace up they'll fit even when my calves have magically grown due to all of the pie I've eaten. These knee highs are lace-up bits of sexiness and £115 from Office. They'll last years if you look after them and protect the leather.
A little bit cute, a little bit office-y, a little bit sexy. A little bit in a sale at Kurt Geiger and just £45.
I disagree with the comment about leather boots lasting, bought a 90 pound pair last yr, followed all the rules on leather protector etc, they didn't even last 3 months. The insides went all weird, sort of really worn really quickly meaning they actually gradually got less comfortable and the outsides are absolutely knackered. I catch buses everywhere, its not like I trekked for miles in them in the rain - really disappointed and as a result woukdnt recommend office boots to anyone.
ReplyDeleteOh dear! I've never had trouble with Office. Did you get a response when you took them back?
ReplyDeleteI love all of these!xx
ReplyDeleteThose grey French Connection pumps are also available in store!
ReplyDeleteAre they the same price, Anon? I planned to write about another pair at ASOS, but then spotted those and thought they were much prettier.
