Godiva Valentine's Chocolates

"What you see before you, my friend, is the result of a lifetime of chocolate." So said Katherine Hepburn, and anything that's good enough for her is most definitely good enough for me.

These limited edition Valentine's chocolates from posh Belgian chocolatier Godiva are the perfect option for even the most hapless of Valentine's gift shoppers. You just can't go wrong with chocolate. It's a fact.
The Coeur Fraise is a white chocolate heart filled with strawberry mousse and comes as part of an 11-piece heart shaped box (RRP £12). It's super sweet and rather moreish.
Or for the more cash-strapped, why not treat your lover to a mini paper heart filled with a selection from the Mont D'amour collection (RRP £6.50). Highlights include a rather grown up matcha tea mousse smothered in dark chocolate and, my favourite (just in case the husband's reading) the Cassis Marron, a tangy combination of blackcurrant and luscious chestnut mousse in milk chocolate.

The Mont D'amour range is also available individually at chocolate counters, so singletons and/or Valentine's haters can nab a few for themselves without the soppy packaging.

Godiva chocolates are available in Selfridges, John Lewis and online at www.godiva.be. Other stockists can also be found at www.godiva.be.

  1. There was lots of Godiva around in Canada and I really liked it. Particularly the Godiva white chocolate liqueur.

The packaging on the paper heart is super cute too!
