Rebecca Wilson is a ceramics designer with a sense of humour. She takes every day pieces and turns them on their head a little bit - she wants to make porcelain a little less formal, and make us think about what we throw away at the same time. Job done, I think. Take a look:
I'm not really a sugar lump kind of girl - I only have half a sugar in my tea. But these Gimme Some Sugar tongs are so cute. The tongs are vintage, and the little arms are porcelain making something quite indulgent a rather fun luxury.
The Finest paperware range comes in two parts, both inspired by paper cups that we think nothing of throwing away after our picnics. You can either buy some super fancy paper cups, or a porcelain version like the ones above.
No, I can't afford this Memoria chandelier. It's five grand. But it's gorgeous, and a little bit creepy. The 100 cups all have little wings on them, and there's something a little spooky about that.
Well, Blow Me. These are my favourite. Perfume spritzers made from those ugly porcelain dolls you get! I love them.
Prices vary from range to range, and you can buy from Rebecca's own shop or from Culture Label. I've got my eye on a perfume lady.
