We all want a summery yellow dress, right? One that makes everyone go 'ooh' when you walk into a room, like you're Audrey Hepburn or Kate Hudson in How To Lose a Guy in Ten Days or some kind of Maria-from-West-Side-Story-wannabe.
Good news: they're everywhere on the high street these days, and some of them are pretty ooh-worthy. Now all you need to do is practise your swishy dancing in the summer rain, and you're a movie star.
This crochet collar number has been atop my wish list for a while now. It's all delicate and cute. I just think when I wear it I'm going to have to find a really big hat. It's £55 from Dorothy Perkins.
Yellow can be sexy too. The frills on this TFNC dress are voluptuous and perfect for shimmying. I would wear it to parties and flirt outrageously. Not bad for £35. Thank you very much, ASOS.
I've not been invited to any weddings this year, but now I've found this warehouse dress in House of Fraser I am going to have to gatecrash one. At least I'll look cracking. It's £58.
"I'm Liesl, I'm sixteen years old and I don't need a governess." I always wanted to be her, and okay, her dress was actually light pink, but look how light and swishy this South pretty dress is! I'm going to wear this and find a bandstand in the rain and a nice young man to dance with. It's £35 from Very and I'm in love.

Kate Hudson rocked that dress so hard. Trying to wear yellow as a blonde is a bitch. It's best to go for a bright yellow, otherwise you look like you're ill. But then you risk looking brassy. I cheat with yellow accessories.
