Coast Limited Edition

Coast is a strange shop. Its target market seems to be people who have a little bit more money than me and go to lots of weddings and black tie events and don't mind dressing the same as half of the other women there. But then their Limited Edition collection launched and I'm actually finding myself liking them.

I'm waaaaay to hippy to wear this drop-waisted sequin dress, but it's divine. Very Zelda Fitzgerald.

This silver gown is very like the Versace dress Angelina Jolie was spotted in at the red carpet event that time. Not the one with her leg. One of the other ones.

This isn't a dress, it's actually a sequin top and a feather skirt. I love both. Once upon a time, Coast would never have dreamt of putting sequins and feathers together - that's far too jazz hands. But now they're rocking it and I'm smitten.

Covered in sequins with the deep V back, frankly, this is the best playsuit in the entire world.

Some of the Coast Limited Edition is same old, same old and the prices certainly aren't any cheaper so you'd expect to be at least £150 out of pocket for an entire outfit. But this is the first Coast collection that I've been excited about. I'm hoping it's the start of them getting more modern and exciting.

  1. Adore that silver gown. Maybe I could wear it to the bowling alley.

  2. So gorgeous. I've noticed they've really upped their game in the last year or so....I get regular email updates from them, and the pieces they feature are some of my favourites that come into my inbox.

  3. Hey there,
I'm the new design director at Coast! Loving your views on the product! Please keep telling me what you think and if I'm ever in your neck of the woods, would you want to come shopping with me? Give me more feedback on what you like and what you don't?!
If you get our emails did you get mine on Sunday?
Great to hear your views, and I'm loving the 'domestic sluttery'!
