Design Porn: Dan Norris

Dan Norris is a bit of an enigma. By this I mean that there's very little information on his website. Usually you get artists and designers giving you their life story before you get to see any of their artwork, but I like the simplicity of Norris' Tumblr. I really like that it just says 'Hello' at the top.

Dan creates alternative film posters. They're A2, they're £30 each (unframed) and when you've decided which one you'd like, you email him. Simple! And absolutely blimmin' fantastic.

I love the subtle hour glass in this print. I haven't seen the film, but I really like the design.

This is simply some of the best film-inspired artwork I've seen in a long time. It's not easy to take something iconic and make it your own but Dan Norris has.
