Design Porn: Seletti Palazzo
"I'm writing about some really sexy tableware tomorrow."
"Seriously, Sian. How sexy can plates be?"
This was a conversation I had in one of my favourite Thai restaurants last night (Busaba, go for the peppercorn squid). I was talking about Seletti's Palazzo range. This is how sexy plates can be.
The Dolomite porcelain tableware sets are based on the Renaissance buildings of Florence and when they're separated they become perfect plates, bowls and serving dishes.
Even the Palazzo roofs become functional when you turn them upside down. They need the very best pasta dishes and your very best friends.
You even get a floorplan on some of the dishes, as if they weren't already perfect. I want the entire Palazzo set, which is a bit ridiculous because they're around £110 per building (I know, I'm sorry). But imagine the fun you'd have eating Italian food and playing some sort of Italian LEGO man Cluedo while you ate.
You can buy the range from Found Home Store's shop on Bouf. Please buy them all and invite me over for tea.
Oh I seeee!!
ReplyDeleteI would like to tell the world that I'm never that condescending to you though – it was more like 'What? Huh? How? Oh, I don't understand.' But I appreciate that doesn't make for very good reading. xx
Seletti are rocking my world at the moment.
ReplyDeleteThey used to be just a bit 'quirky', they've stepped up.
