The Little Wine Kit: Turn Water into Wine

It seems that Thursday is gunning for the champion title of 'one of those bloody days'. One of those dragging-yourself-through-treacle days where nothing is going desperately wrong but everything is buggering up just enough to piss you off.

I might not be able to fix your totally shitty day but, BUT, I can do something perhaps even greater. I can show you how to turn water into wine. Today needs a miracle and it comes in the form of a Little Wine Kit from Firebox.

Pick your options from red (cabernet sauvignon), white (sauvignon blanc) or rose (zinfandel). You might want  get some Wine Wipes if you opt for the red variety. Then head to the cornershop that never closes after work because this is going to take a while and that half bottle you've got in the fridge isn't going to cut it.

Your kit comes with all of these little bits and bobs, and then science magic happens. Instructions come with, don't ask me to explain miracles. But, Firebox's website does say it 'takes less than three weeks'. That's ages, I recommend another trip to the shops while you wait. By the end of three weeks, you'll have a bottle of wine that you made yourself from stuff out of your kitchen tap. Brilliant.

The kits are £29.99 each and resuable (and they come with other recipes so you can make your own creations) and you won't have to trample a single grape between your toes. Suddenly Thursday seems a lot more reasonable, even if it did take a miracle.
