The great cupcake hunt!
Earlier this week, those lovely folk at The Metro scribbled about our cupcake competitions. And to advertise the fact that sometimes cake is free, they showed a picture of that cake. Doesn't it look lovely?
But, we want to know where it's from. They can't remember, they're in little cupcakey sugar comas. Just look at that cake! We want to try that cake! It's so pretty! The dulce de leche we can see in the middle looks oh-so-tasty and we must must try these cakes.
Did you make that cake? Do you know who did? Tell us in the comments! Help us on our great big cupcake hunt so we can try that tasty cake.

Borough Market? I had similar from a stand this lunchtime - they were selling toffee, lemon and chocolate (with a flake in!)
ReplyDeleteWITH A FLAKE IN?! Wow.
ReplyDeleteThat's it - too many pretty pictures of cupcakes - I am going to have to bake some tonight!
ReplyDeleteI am just going to reiterate...
ReplyDeleteWITH A FLAKE IN!!! OMG! :-O
Yep, half a flake in vanilla buttercream and a perfect chocolate sponge. I am totally nicking that for my next cupcake bakeathon with is on SUNDAY!
ReplyDeleteMy other fave cupcake trick was from the batch for my friend's leaving-for-china party - green tea sponge (use matcha), white choc buttercream, and a fortune cookie half dipped in white choc :)
