Shopping Heaven: My Sugarland

The rather fabulous My Sugarland, at the top of St John Street near to Angel tube station is a mecca for all things rather lustworthingly splendid. The brainchild of stylist Zoe Lem, the shop is more than just that, its more of a gallery where gorgeous clothes and accessories vie for your undivided attention.

There are vintage pieces from the 1920s through to modern labels like PPQ and Mawi. The only problem is that I just don't have anywhere near enough money to actually buy anything in there. But that doesn't stop me from wandering in there every week or so and just lusting after everything.

They're not resting on their perfectly styled laurels though...there always seems to be something fabulous going on inside; tomorrow there's a jewellery recycling workshop run by jewellery designer Bernadette Deddens.

She'll be able to help you refresh some old accessories and breathe new life into your odds and ends, and there will also be wine (oooh) and special discounts (oooooh). Those are two things us Sluts are rather fond of. We're also fond of naughty word art which is why the sign at the 'rear' of the shop makes me chuckle.
