Shop in the Spotlight: Made in the Shade

The Maisonette is a small but perfectly formed emporium of loveliness in the fair city of Glasgow. Despite it's bijoux nature it stocks an envious selection of vintage finds and handmade delights from some pretty darn amazing designers, makers and artists from across the UK.

For a long time now I have been hugely envious of my friends north of the border so I was delighted to hear that the lovely Made in the Shade gals, who run The Maisonette, now have an online shop and we can all get out mitts on their wonderful goodies. Frances was having a wee bit of bag lust last week and here are some of my favourite things.

I adore this Embroidered Felt Phone Home (£12) with it's retro phone dial motif but mainly, if I'm being honest, because it's called a phone home.

This Everything OK CD Card (£4) comes complete with a blank CD for you to fill with music to show your friends how much you love them. Music really is going to make everything ok.

And if music doesn't make everything ok then ice cream definitely will. This Ice Cream Pin (£5) is sure to bring a smile to even the most glum of days!
