Design Porn: artPause Map Prints
Maps have always fascinated me. You can look at all of the different places and day dream about running of on Sluttery Travels. And let's be honest, there's a certain pleasing design element about them as well. Maps look cool - you only have to do a search in Etsy for maps to see how many crafters are inspired by them. It seems that artPause totally agree with me, their map prints are beautiful.
This is what the world would look like if it was covered in giant colourful butterflies. If that doesn't totally scare the crap out of you (why not?) then this is the map for you. You massive weirdo.
If the world was musical, it would look like this. This sheet music map is very cool.
At first is doesn't even look like a world map, but it is.
It's a crazy cat lady map! I think Sara might snap this up immediately.
I like that you get to choose the price of your map - you can buy a standard print, or a snazzy fine art print. Even a canvas if you want. Prices start at less than a tenner and end around £60. That's a bargain whether you choose designs inspired by Mondrian or scary, scary giant butterflies.

But all the traditional Mercator projection, disappointing. Have we learned nothing from the Organisation of Cartographers for Social Equality? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8zBC2dvERM
ReplyDeleteThese are amazing! The boyf has a real thing for maps, and I love Mondrian! Really well priced too!
