Shoe Porn: Zara Wooden and Leather Wedges

These wood and leather wedges weren't the reason I was on the Zara website, but they're definitely the reason I've left the tab open all morning. They're the reason I'm going to be a little bit poorer today. Soon they're going to be the reason the Boots by Sluttery HQ has an increase in plaster sales. Then once I've broken them in they'll be the reason London stares at my feet and says nice things.

They're luscious. And, (probably) more importantly, I think I could walk in them.

Usually I'm wary of platform wedges. Once upon a time you could get wedges that weren't seven million inches tall and didn't give you vertigo. That was a simpler time after a glass bottle of wine. But I'm cooing over their chunky wooden heel. Damn it's fine.

And straps! Actual straps! The very worst thing you can do is give a platform wedge a slingback. You might as well call A&E in advance. (Don't actually do that, they'll tell you off.) And gosh, such shiny shiny leather.

They're £59.99 (from size 3-8). They're divine. They're mine.

    1. Are they very very high, Lynda? The don't look mega massive but PC screens are more deceiving when it comes to pretty things.
