Win! ALL of our Christmas presents AND a red KitchenAid Mixer!

On the 12th day of Christmas, Domestic Sluttery gave to me... all of the presents, and a bonus bright red KitchenAid!

Deck the halls, jingle our bells, rock around our Christmas tree. We're giving away EVERYTHING. If you've been following our Christmas prizes this December, you'll have drooled over the gorgeous stuff we've given away, but if you've missed a couple here's a quick recap (this feels a little like the Generation Game, amazing):

Meaty goodies from Donald Russell, a £50 voucher from Somethingtwo sausage dog cushions from Hunkydory Homean Alex Monroe bicycle necklace from Accessories Onlinea Spineless Classic print from Will & Glorya suede clutch bag from Boticcaa bottle of Chase marmalade vodkaa polka dot dress from Lady Vintagea brass collar from the V&Ashoes designed by you from Upper Street, and a Kathleen Hills rolling pin from Bodie & Fou! Phew!

But that's not all!

We're also giving away a KitchenAid mixer in with the grand prize! We've chosen a red one to give away, because it's the most Christmassy and we're starting to feel very festive indeed. We want to give one of you the best ever Christmas and this is a good place to start. We'd really, really like reports of your cakes if you win this. Actually, you're going to be the best baker ever if you win so we'd really like your cakes in the post.

This is a huge prize, worth around £1300. So instead of entering in the usual way, we want you to head over to The Domestic Sluttery Just Giving Page and buy a raffle ticket (or twenty). They're £2 each and all of the money we raise will go to Shelter, hopefully helping to give someone else a little less fortunate a better Christmas.

You've got until midday on Friday (UK time) to buy your raffle ticket and then we'll announce the winner later that afternoon. We want to raise as much money for Shelter as possible so do share the competition and even if you don't fancy winning all of this gorgeous stuff, you're more than welcome to donate - every penny makes a difference to this brilliant charity.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Oh yawn, small print (read it). The competition will close at noon (UK time) December 21st. You must be UK based to enter, sorry to all of our lovely overseas readers. The winning entry will be chosen at random and announced at 1pm on Friday 21st. Since you probably don't really want a turkey to arrive after Christmas, Donald Russell are allowed to change that prize to something else equally awesome and of similar value, and while Lady Vintage are going to do their best to get you a red dress in your size, they'll offer an alternative if that's not possible. You get one entry per £2 raffle ticket and you can buy as many as you like but do make sure you leave an email address on your Just Giving entry, no one else will be able to see it, but we need to get in touch with you if you win. Don't GiftAid your donation - you're not allowed to do that in a raffle. The more raffle tickets you buy, the more we'll think you're fabulous but it's still a totally random draw. Thanks to everyone who has donated prizes this Christmas, you're all amazing. Go on everyone, go and make Shelter some money!

  6. Oh no, I also did giftaid as stupidly I didn't read all the small print - will the entry not count? :(

  10. This is a lovely idea for the last day. And I can't walk past a raffle, even when it's for cooking wine and a box of out-of-date Black Magics, so off to the just giving site now...

  13. Oh no, I gift aided mine, then came back and read the small print...d'oh!! I can see I am not the only one, please can you confirm that I'm still in the raffle? Brilliant idea, Happy Christmas xx

  14. Maybe you should have made the Gift Aid bit bigger for those of us who tend not to read the small print! Yikes......I gift aided because I thought it would be more money for the charity. Obviously it also means no chance for me to win the prizes!

    1. Be fair, it's also in capital letters on the Just Giving page!

You'll still be entered, but there are tax issues with GiftAid and we don't want our page to be shut down for breaking the rules. We're trying to do the right thing and we've outlined it twice.

  15. What a fabulous idea!
Now, do I have to do 5 different donations at £2 or can I just donate a tenner?
Want to make sure I'm doing it correctly...
    Thanks, Gill.

    1. Either is fine, Gill! (But doing it all at once is obviously easier.)

  16. Help, I'm being dim and can't work out how to give you my email address without everyone else seeing it?! I tried putting it as my message, but then it came up alongside my name on the 'latest messages' bit - what am I doing wrong?!

    1. Hi Kate,

You should be able to add your email address privately. You have an option to add your real name, so that's when you'd do it. You can always leave a Twitter account if you have one, a few people have done that.

Hope that helps! Let us know if you need anything else. Thanks so much for entering and donating to Shelter!

    2. Hi Sian,

Thanks for the reply - I've tried to go back into my donation details to check and/or edit it, but it seems I can't now :-(

Think I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed that I accidentally made it possible for you to see my email address in the first place!

Thanks for setting up such a great competition and supporting a brilliant charity!

    3. Kate, feel free to email us your address - it hasn't been stored on Just Giving! We don't want to swindle generous people out of the raffle, we just want to make sure the comp runs smoothly as well as raising lots of money.

    4. Done - thank you! :-)

    1. Thanks for reading the small print :-) We think we're sticking to the rules, but don't want to be told off and then see Shelter miss out on the donations.

  19. AMAZING! Entered and did not GiftAid :)

  20. Bum I gift aided too. Jiggling baby and chasing dog not helpful when donating. I hope it doesn't cause you too much trouble, it's a brilliant charity so happy to donate anyway. Glad you picked shelter xx

    1. Wish there was an option on Just Giving to refuse GiftAid. I think it's fine as long as we've told you not to. Thanks for donating!

    2. If it helps you can take me out of the raffle if it saves trouble over the tax, etc xx

  21. Absolutely amazing competition - and fantastic idea. It has warmed my festive cockles.

  22. Oh my! I have wanted a red Kitchen Aid for so long. I've even stuck a picture of one on the fridge in the hope a passing Santa or birthday fairy might see it and take pity, but no luck so far. Fingers crossed!

Huge congratulations on smashing your target. Shelter is a wonderful charity. All that money is going to do so much good.

  23. Grr, not 100% i left my email adress. I'm a Christmas doofus at the moment.

Can I email it to you?

  24. I entered (and read the small print!) a few hours ago, but I also wanted to say how brilliant I think this idea is. Instead of buying Christmas cards this year I donated money to Shelter, so I am happy to see that you've done such a brilliant fundraising job for them. Inspiring. Merry Christmas!
