Top Ten Salmon Recipes

Salmon seems to divide people. For every one of us who see it as a speedy dinner option, there's another one who avoids it unless it's handed out at an event.

But with the right recipe, salmon can be a really simple treat (especially if you spot some fillet in the reduced section of the supermarket). Here are our top ten salmon recipes.

Oven-baked salmon. Seriously, salmon is totally idiot proof.

Gravadlax (pictured, looking all amazing and colourful). Oooh, fancy. If you've got a lot of people coming over for dinner, this will definitely impress them. Sound too daunting? Then try cerviche instead.

Smoked salmon Benedict. The ideal simple breakfast dish. Especially if you cheat when it comes to the hollandaise.

Gift-wrapped salmon. Everything is better wrapped in pastry. This is a fact of life.

Salmon and broccoli tart. This is the perfect thing for lunch. Begone, boring desk sandwiches!

Salmon in a Thai broth. Perfect for spring. Add a little cream and chilli on colder days. Or, make this Thai salmon curry.

Blackened Cajun salmon. No, it's really not burnt. IT'S MEANT TO LOOK LIKE THAT.

Filled mini Yorkshire puddings. If fashion events have taught us anything, it's that it's impossible to have a canape without including salmon in some form.

Kedgeree. We've got two kedgeree recipes. One traditional, one using Thai flavours. Look, Thai spices and salmon work a treat together OK? Try the Thai salmon fishcakes as well.
