Anu Penttinen to develop this new line of kooky, quirky avian ornaments. The Birds by Penttinen collection is inspired by cartoons and other pop culture imagery and includes this
Sweet Liquorice bird for £169.

Oiva Toikka barn owls are individually handmade at Iittala's famous glassworks in Finland. Although I still subscribe to the Tracy Jordan school of thought that an owl without a graduation cap is heartbreaking, this one has a certain yellow-eyed charm. He's £199.
Last but not least, this
Red Ibis sits on its own pedestal and will set you back a whopping £289, although each one comes with a unique mark of authenticity, and apparently they're much-coveted collectables. You can get this one and the other two all from
