Shoe Porn: Burgundy Brogues
The last time I featured a pair of clunky loafers, you all told me off and said they were ugly. So I'm playing a risky game with these burgundy brogues from Miss Selfridge. But I love them. Everything about them makes me want to do little skips down the street (carefully, they're quite high). The patent leather, the chunky heel and the brogue detailing all make for a very very fabulous shoe.
It's really not quite sandal weather yet, and you're all in tights and snuggly things. These are the perfect shoes for shivery weather. And the leather will look all shiny in the sun too. They're £50. Hurry up and buy them before they're gone.

Oh I like those, great with a skirt, tights and a nice warm, slouchy jumper!

Lovely - I have a similar pair I bought last year from Clarke's so must still be in fashion!!
ReplyDeleteI really like those: they remind me of some Mulberry ones I saw at Bicester!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! And they look as though I could walk in them although at 5'8" even without shoes I am pretty sure I would scare folk in those.
ReplyDeleteOoh, the fourteen year old in me would have loved to have a pair of those in 1995! Actually, the twenty nine year old me would love a pair to have circa now - very cute!
