You guys loved the look of Brighton's Sea Spray hotel, and then I remembered the nearby Hotel Pelirocco. They call themselves England's most rock 'n' roll hotel and they might just be right. The bar is pretty cool:
Minimalism clearly isn't something Pelirocco do. You can hire the Singstar karaoke room too.
This is their playroom suite. There's everything from a mirrored ceiling, a pole for dancing and a giant round bed. Perfect for a dirty weekend away. Prices start at £249 a night.
This snuggly room has a kingsize bed AND A PLAYSTATION TWO. I need nothing more. It's £119 a night.
There are 19 rooms in the hotel, some designed by jewellery designers, some taking their inspiration from music. Some of them are a little tacky, but they've got some unique ideas in even their smallest single rooms (the Sputnik is designed to look like a space age capsule). It's a quirky place, with Brighton beach right on your doorstep. Not that I'd leave the room, I'll be busy eating cake and playing video games.
