Salami Slut Cups (makes 20)
You'll need:
- A mini muffin tin
- 20 slices of salami
- A ball of mozzarella, drained
- Some chutney of your choice (I used a spicy tomato and chilli one)
Make it!
- Preheat the oven to 200c / Gas 5.
- Push the salami slices into the cups of the mini muffin tin. Shape them into cups with your fingers.
- Put a bit of mozzarella in each salami cup.
- Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from oven to let them cool in the tin. The trick is to let the melted fat from the salami set, which helps the cups to hold their shape.
- Once cool, add a little splodge of chutney to each cup.

ReplyDeleteI fed these to a room full of boys for Thanksgiving this weekend and they absolutely loved them! I switched sun dried tomatoes in for the chutney on one batch, and they were pretty darn tasty too. Perfect quick nibbles!
