Time for Tea: Tea lovers' eco cup
I love a good trompe l'oeil in the kitchen, and the great thing about this one is that it can accompany you on your travels away from the home, too. It's the exact shape and size as a Starbucks-style disposable coffee cup, but it's made from a shiny, floral ceramic and you can use it as many times as your usual china; i.e. pretty much until you break it!
The eco-cup idea is nothing new, but this is the first time I've seen the greener takeaway-style mugs painted up with such pretty patterns. They have a lovely weight to them, and really have to be seen and handled in real life to be appreciated.
I'm not so sure about the twee teapot 'handles' on the sillicone "sleeves", but these can be easily removed if you don't mind getting your hands hot. The lid is made from bendy, washable rubber and fits snugly on the top, making the cups an enviable prospect for commuters.
£10.99 at I want one of those and in branches of Urban Outfitters.
