I Love London
I try and steer clear of entirely London-inspired things. It's not exactly fair on the rest of you who live outside of the capital. Yes, I do remember that life goes on outside of the M25. But most London-inspired art and design only concentrates on the usual. The river, the landmarks, the stuff you see all the time.
This London print by Matt Blease for Pedlars covers everything. Look! There's Charlton! That's where you'll find Sluttery HQ! There's Stamford Hill and Ealing and all of those other places that are so often forgotten on city pretties. It's £195, but it's handprinted, it's signed and it's in a limited edition of 100. It's nice to have something London-y that remembers the postcodes outside of zone one.

I really like this one, if I had a flat (which I don't have at the moment) and if I had money (which I don't at the moment) I would buy it!
ReplyDeleteThat is utterly gorgeous! Great find.
