Book Geekery: The Great Food Series

Books and food, books about food, food shaped like books, reading books while eating food. Books and food are two things that are never far away from a Domestic Slut's mind. So I'm very taken with Penguin's Great Food series that is now available from the V&A Reading Rooms.

This food alphabet book looks fun! I wonder what else will be in here? Quince? Zebra meat?

Want to learn more about Middle Eastern food? Me too.

Or how about the memoir turned cookbook Murder in the Kitchen?

I approve of this title very much. Excess is a joyful thing.

Each book cover has a glorious design and it's nice to see old texts being given a bit of a spruce. They're a very reasonable £6.99 each (a few are £4 or so on Amazon). You can also preorder the whole set of 20 books for £78.40 - it's out in November.
