Confession: I was actually looking for a warm autumnal cape when I stumbled across this feathery beauty from ASOS. This isn't going to keep you warm, but it's wonderfully impractical and will make gloomy evenings a little bit more glamourous. It shouldn't be this miserable in September, so we all need to do our bit to keep our spirits up.Reduced to just £12, you can throw it on to feel special even if all you're doing is popping to Sainsbury's and curling up on the sofa with a book. It also comes in navy, aqua and pink. If you go for grey, don't mistake it for a pigeon and scream when you open your wardrobe early one morning. Not that I did that, you understand. Definitely not.
