Cocktail Hour: The Bloodhound

I'm not a frequent vermouth drinker, but somehow there always seems to be a half empty bottle in the house. In every house I've lived in, there's vermouth. Usually all dusty at the back of the drinks collection, but it's there. To my knowledge, no one in Sluttery HQ has ever used the bottle we've got stashed away, and no one knows where it came from either.

But that's going to change, because there's loads of tasty cocktails that can be made with it. I'm going to kick off my cocktail making with a Bloodhound. It'll use up all those strange bottles, and it's made with strawberries which are always tasty in cocktails. And gin, which is very very tasty in cocktails.

You'll need:
  • 50ml gin
  • 25ml sweet vermouth
  • 25ml dry vermouth
  • crushed strawberries
Shake it!

Shake all the alcoholic ingredients together, pour over crushed ice and add the crushed strawberries to the glass as a garnish.

Got a random bottle of booze you never use? Tell us in the comments and we'll do our best to come up with a cocktail recipe!
