Dream Dress: Zara Scarlet Tulip Dress
This is THE dress. The red dress that will make every single other frock in my wardrobe obsolete. No more party frocks are needed. Zara have won the Christmas party frock competition. By a million miles. Go home, Topshop. Try again next year, French Connection.
The colour is so very perfect for the festive season. Red is always a winner. But this is the kind of red that will still look wonderful on a summery day. And the tulip shape is heavenly. Much more interesting than a standard red satin frock you'll see over the high street this month. This dress has cuteness in the bucketload. With a little bit of chic thrown in.
And it's only £99. Zara, you're making me so utterly crazy for you right now. Well done.

Gosh it's v short though - you must have lovely legs! :)
ReplyDeleteI think it would look a bit mumsy if it was any longer to be honest.
ReplyDeleteIt's much too short.
ReplyDeleteOooh it is lovely but I don't think I could pull this off - I'm far too pear shaped to make my bottom half look any bigger than it already is!
ReplyDeleteI've got a pretty shapely bottom half myself - I've actually found that tulip shapes do a good job of hiding it. People just think it's all part of the dress shape ;-)
ReplyDeleteLoves it. Would look awesome with some black patterned tights. And a glass of red wine. Y'know, to accessorise.
ReplyDeleteif it wasn't so short, it would be elegant.....it's not very lady-like as too much on show here! Then again, if you are 18 and thin.....go for it !
ReplyDeleteOpaque tights cancel out short skirt-ness! And anyway the model's probably abt 5'10 making it seem shorter. I'm not sure about the wool though, depends where you will be partying or it could be hot? Looks lovely though.
ReplyDeleteI literally just sat here open-mouthed for an indeterminate amount of time. LAV. IT.
ReplyDeleteI keep doing that EVERY time I look at it.
