Birdy Brilliance: Alice Melvin's tablemats and coasters
We love our feathered friends here at Domestic Sluttery. Rarely a week goes by without a little birdie popping up somewhere, whether it's a flamingo, an owl or the humble pigeon. Alice Melvin also loves her birds. So it follows that her coasters and placemats are right up our dining table street.
Each are decorated with a different kind of bird, transformed into its own eye-boggling pattern. Take a look at the owl coaster is nesting at the top of this post or her bullfinches coaster, above.
Alice's placemats bring even more birdy delights to pick from, like these Black headed gulls.
Or these colourful blue tits. The most appropriate bird for your table though?
In my greedy case, it's definitely the Gannets.
The placemats are £21.95 and the coasters are £9.95, both for a set of four. You can get them all from Illustrated Living. They're perfect for your very own nest.

Oh, the coasters! The owl ones especially. I would have them myself in a heartbeat, but that is my lovely Grandma's Xmas present sorted. :)
