Design Porn: WeWood Wooden Watches
Some of the more stylish chaps I know sport rather dashing WeWood watches but until recently, there was no version for women. While I have no issue in wearing a 'man's watch', I have skinny little wrists and often need to get links taken out of my watch straps - I can't wear a bulky watch, even if it is nifty and made from lovely maple wood.
Damn that's pretty. Excellent styling as well - if I was wearing this watch, I absolutely would wear it with lots of metal (anything natural might look a little hippy-dippyish). It's swish and elegant, but it's different enough to be noticed. It doesn't look like you bought it at Camden Market.
I can just about get past the slightly ridiculous WeWood designer page on e-side ("A philosophy not implemented is only a dream") because the Odyssey watch looks splendid and it's a pretty reasonable £89.99 so it has 'perfect Christmas gift' written all over it. They're eco-friendly as well - for every watch sold, WeWood plant a new tree. Be on time for meetings, plant some trees, collect compliments. That's quite a watch.

Wooden watches! The solution to my 'can't wear a watch my skin can't cope with metal' problem! I wonder if I can convince someone to buy me one for Christmas?
ReplyDeleteThey're hypo-allergenic, and very pretty. Perfect!
DeletePigwotflies, you are right the WeWood Watches are perfect for a person who has metal-allergy
