There Is A Light That Never Goes Out
In the aftermath of last week's riots, we discovered the kindness and decency of ordinary people. 'Riotwombles' turned out with brooms to clean up their communities. People raised thousands of pounds for strangers in need. Peckham residents stuck love-letters to their home to a boarded-up Poundland. I can't be the only person who's been a little bit weepy about the amazing acts that have come out of something so terrible.
This print is a reminder that no matter how bad things get - whether it's riots, heartbreak, a miserable job - there is always a tiny piece of hope. The lovely people always outnumber the terrible ones. So whether you're a Smiths fan, need a little piece of happiness in your home, or just think this would make an adorable, joyous addition to your walls, have a look at illustrator Freya's fledgling shop. This bold and bright A3 print is just £5.
