Shoe Porn: Office Cleopatra Wedges
After all of the walking that Frances and I did in Amsterdam, I managed to tear my Achilles tendon. Yep, we touristed and sight-saw the crap out of that city. But now I've been hobbling around for the last week. 'Ouch' doesn't quite cover it.
I'm finding myself preferring to wear flats to high heels. I walk a lot. I want to walk without crying about my stupid shoes. But these little mini wedge sandals (£55 from Office) are ideal. They're sort of heels and sort of flats. They look comfy, don't they? The kind of shoes that you won't even notice even if you go out dancing after work on a Friday night. They're the kind of shoes that I live in once it gets sunny. The bright jewels and leather straps are gorgeous and I just need a floaty dress to go with them. Summer's coming, isn't it?

Gorgeous! I love shoes like that - just enough heel to make your legs look nice, but comfy enough for walking around all day.
ReplyDeleteYou have my sympathy on the Achilles tendon, too - I tore mine twice in my teens! Ouch indeed.
That's all I want from my shoes, Allie! Heel is nearly better now, but it's been a week of hobbling about like a fool.
DeleteOh no! Is that what you did to your foot? We've been so busy talking about other important stuff (you know like polka dots and boys) that I didn't ask you. Hope it gets better soon!
ReplyDeleteYes. Have been hobbling and sulking in equal measure. Yet you sent me no flowers or grapes.
DeleteNearly better. Just a couple more days of sitting...
