Design Porn: Kristjana S Williams

Kirstjana S Williams is one of the most interesting artists I've seen in a long time. The fantastic birds in her work are my absolute favourite - it's a little Chloë Croft meets Dan Hillier meets House of Hackney, with a flair of something I haven't seen before. A bit of a messed up Eden.

I love the mix of colour and black ink in this stag print. That looks like a tree I'd like to sit under.

Birds meet butterflies. Take a closer look...

This definitely goes into the Creepy But Awesome folder. A little part of me wishes that was a real folder.

Look, loads of butterfly birds! They're amazing. The pink one with the neck is creeping me out a bit, but if you gave him a bit of a voiceover à la Pixar he'd be the cute hapless one of the group. Now I love him.

I really love this print. Actually, when I first looked at it, it didn't even look that 'out there'. The muted colours make it just a little bit more unusual. It's like one of those old fashioned bird drawings you'd get in an Osborne book, but really damn strange.

This is a truly excellent cushion. There's really nothing more to be said on the matter.

Oh goodness. A globe. A brilliant magical totally out there globe. It's calling me, it's saying 'Sian, spend your rent money on me' (and at £485 for the small one, I would be well on my way to living on a friend's sofa and spinning my globe about). Still, I adore it. Truly, madly and a little deeply than one should feel for a globe.

Prices for Kristjana's work varies - cushions are £65, prints start at £85. Or, you could pay £7678 for this glorious sofa. Don't tempt me.
