Shoe Porn: Pied a Terre Wedges

I do love me a wedge shoe. Mostly because I'm not as firm on my feet as I would like. I tend to be a bit fally over. So, my logic is that wedges are more stable. Even if they're sky-high. This might not be the most sound logic, but mix it with some prettiness and I'll believe it.

And these Pied a Terre gemstone wedges are mighty pretty. There's a teensy bit of espadrille going on, which I usually hate, but not in these. The dark wood and pretty jewels saves them. They're £75 (down from £150) so they're expensive, but if these were cheap shoes, you'd be able to tell.

Instead, they're just beautiful.
