I never really got the Moomins as a child - it was all a bit wistful and spooky - but now I'm smitten with their bohemian attitude and fuzzy spirit of inclusivity. I was always impressed with Little My though. She was small, shouty and grumpy (no, I can't think why I identified with her) but everyone loved her anyway.It's the Moomins 65th anniversary this year, but frankly Little My doesn't look a day over eight. This keyring is just £6 from Artbox and means you can carry the mardy lass with you at all times. Squeeze her tight during moments when all you want to do is jump up and down and yell at the world.
Ah, I have a strange fondness for moomins... Spent 2 weeks in Finland over the summer, and you couldn't escape the 65th anniversary.
