I've put a lot of thought into this. Peacocks are all very prancy prancy, and parrots are funny. I really like kingfishers - they're snazzy. Owls are brilliant (especially the hungover ones). But the best and prettiest and most wonderful bird? Well that's obviously a flamingo. It can't possibly be anything but the silly pink gangly bird who likes standing on one leg.
They're so undisputedly brilliant, Cole & Son have put them on wallpaper.
It's £55 a roll from Wallpaper Direct and I can't think of a room in my house that I don't want to deck with the funny feathery things. THEY'RE STANDING ON ONE LEG. Owls don't do that.
