As much as I adore nosing through The Outnet and Net-a-Porter, my dress pockets aren't that deep. I'm all for buying good quality stuff, but I can't afford to blow hundreds on a designer item and I don't get on with eBay. I'm not to be trusted with a website that makes me think that I've WON something, when I've actually spent money earmarked for vegetables.
Enter Wardrobe Mistress.
Like a cross between the two, Wardrobe Mistress is the saving grace for girls who like fancy stuff accidentally spend their money on pints and quiz machines. Stylish and full of excellent designer clobber (I haven't seen a single shoddy item), but you can buy and sell much like eBay. They also offer styling and wardrobe overhauls for when you need a little bit more help in the pretty dresses department. But what have they to offer at the moment? Take a look.
These gold toe Alexander McQueen courts retail at £335, they're yours for £140 and only a little scuffed on the soles. These leather boots are a bargain, too.
This Dolce & Gabbana dress retailed at £1100. Now it's £150. And the colour is just so damn glorious. I'm wearing more green in 2012.
This Gucci blouse is so sexy. And it's £50 instead of £600. How. I mean... how?
An Yves Saint Laurent dress for £130? GIMME. Still too much money? You can make them an offer for less if you want.
Not everything is as OMGSOCHEAP as the pieces above, but there is so much stuff to search through. Some of it's still out of my price range. But I've never seen a Gucci shirt for fifty quid on eBay, and if I had it would probably be fake. Instead of sifting through a pile of rubbish and 'Chanel-ESQUE' items, you get the good stuff straight away. And it's good. It's really really good.
Not entirely sure why I've told you all about it, to be honest. Arse.
