Mini Moderns Paints

The Mini Moderns website firmly states that they're about pattern. And that's true - it's what they're known for. Now they've decided that they're going to be all about colour as well, and they've released a gorgeous paint range. You probably know buy now how much we love a cool paint range.

Reader, I am excited.

The paints are environmentally responsible, and they contain up to 90% recycled content -they're made up of waste paint from landfills. I don't really know how that works, but I do like when can give things an eco thumbs up.

Of course, what you really want to know about are the colours. And they're pretty fabulous. Then entire range is designed to co-ordinate with the Mini Moderns designs and patterns. This means that the teal Lido colour first seen on their their Whitby wallpaper now comes in a paint pot. The Harvest Orange from their Folk Rock collection is here looking so yummy that I want to paint everything with it immediately. My skirting boards are crying out for these paints. The colours that Mini Moderns are known for perfectly complement one another. Not too bright, not too dull, the entire range is earthy and very tasty indeed. Look, here's a little peek at the paint chart on my desk:

See? YUM. (The Royal Opera house card is by Paper Tango and I love it dearly.) The best thing? Mini Moderns do like a project, so as well as the paints being available in 2.5l tins, they're available in little 250ml 'project pots'. I can't think of anything nicer than having a Tangerine Dream project and I must start one immediately. The paints will be available very soon and you've probably got enough time to rush to B&Q for some paintbrushes. You're going to want to paint everything.
