Design Porn: Home Beyond Havoc
I give you permission to kick me in the shins after you've read about Home Beyond Havoc. Because you'll think everything is utterly brilliant and you'll want to buy it all and then you'll see the prices and be mad at me. I'm really sorry.
How much do I want bee teacups? Hard. We're talking properly dangerous levels of wanting. Probably because I watched a documentary about killer bees last week and they're pretty hardcore.
But grasshoppers are cooler than bees. Stop it, Home Beyond Havoc. I'm starting to yearn. And dribble on my laptop a little.
I would eat things covered in honey off my honey bee plate. Maybe these honey chicken goujons.
The kitten is not allowed to sit on this moth cushion. It's mine, he doesn't get to put his grubby paws anywhere near it.
So how much? Cushions are £65. Plates and cups and saucers are £35. EACH! You can save £40 if you buy a set of cups and saucers for £100. My eyes (and pockets) are bleeding now. I love this range so much (and it's all homemade in the UK), but my pennies don't stretch this far. Even if the pieces are utterly fabulous.

Thanks for the article I'm really chuffed you like the products! While the price might scare you a little it's because the products are designed and manufactured in UK so they are never going to be as cheap as the imported, mass produced bits you see on the highstreet. But I am working on some new season bits at the moment that your eyes (and your wallet!) will love.
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting! I think your work is beautiful. I cover a lot of ceramics produced and designed in the UK - rarely mass produced products (as you'll see from the rest of the site, I'm something of an obsessive) and I was still surprised at the price. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with next.
