Handbags seem to be getting an elegant touch this autumn. Chains instead of straps, a little bit of Chanel-esque quilting, and boxy shapes that look very classy indeed. I want them all. You can't have enough handbags. I think I have more bags than I do shoes (but I use the same two all the time, obviously).

navy bag so much that it's ended up on my birthday list (tomorrow, have I mentioned that?) It's £15 from
Dorothy Perkins and it's gorgeous. Navy and mustard together make for very happy bedfellows, don't they? There's something very preppy and classic about the combination that suits the bag perfectly. It also looks roomy enough for lots of stuff. Like birthday cards.
