Dream Dress: Ringspun Ballet Dress
This is indeed my dream dress. It's from Ringspun and I tried it on months ago for Gail's wedding and while it wasn't wedding suitable, or something that I'd usually grab off the rail in a shop, I adored it. So much so that this is what I was wearing at our book launch party last night. I've been keeping it secret for months now, only a handful of people knew which dress I was wearing.
The draping in the skirt is so beautiful. It's lazy, it's effortless and it's flattering. It's definitely a long way from my usually pencil dresses and 50s prom shapes. I bought mine from Joy for £75, but there's actually £15 off at Very so this little piece of pretty will cost you just £60.

It genuinely looks like something I used to wear at ballet - leotard and wrap skirt. OBVIOUSLY this is a good thing! x
ReplyDeletewe want piccies from the book launch event. tout suite!!
ReplyDeleteI think we need a picture of Sian in the dress - she rocked it more than the model in that photo.
ReplyDeleteIt is lovely. I have just found it on Asos for £46...
ReplyDelete£46? Awww I paid full price.
ReplyDeleteHere's a pic of me in it, in which (unlike the model) I am not standing like a man:
