Katie Adams puts London in your kitchen

I've had a fascination with the striking beauty of London ever since I was a little girl - the mix of shapes and textures, old and new. Now I've finally moved to the city I've loved for years and am lucky enough to catch a glimpse of some of the best bits pretty much everywhere I go - and yet I haven't lost my love for that London skyline. And yes, of course, I haven't lost my love for tea paraphenalia, either.

It makes sense then that this beautiful ceramic series designed by London potter Katie Allen is the latest object of my desires.

Every bit of it is hand thrown and hand painted, so absolutely unique. That cup and saucer above costs £43 and is available through mydeco.

There's a whole set of other pieces available through mydeco - espresso cups, cereal bowls, milk jugs - each featuring different London landmarks, but I think my personal favourite has to be the ivory mug which is available at £15 by emailing Katie directly through her website. Oooh, and there's a matching tea towel!
