Shop in the Spotlight: Snow Home

Snow Home in York aim to be something different in a sea of shops offering their 'generic design, a largely predictable assembly of plastic chairs and accessories important from the far east'. That sounds pretty good to me! Let's take a look at some of their best bits.

They've got some David Shrigley cards. That's always a good start. Just £2.50.

I really like these clear wall vases. I have a strange temptation to put fish in them instead of flowers. The little one is £12.

This is a really interesting lampshade. It's just under £40. It looks quite small, but they're getting more sizes in soon.

This word map of the British Isles is my favourite piece. You can just about see cream teas around Devon and the tail end of pasties in Cornwall and Cockles on the Welsh coast. It's £25.
